This includes QR codes that direct users to pages designed to obtain passwords, authentication codes, financial information, security credentials, or other sensitive information through deception.
4. Malware and Harmful Software
You must not use the Service to facilitate the distribution of malicious or harmful software.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Viruses and worms.
- Ransomware.
- Spyware and keyloggers.
- Trojan software.
- Malicious scripts or code.
- Other software intentionally designed to damage, disrupt, monitor, or gain unauthorized access to systems or devices.
5. Unauthorized Access and Security Abuse
You must not attempt to interfere with the security, operation, or availability of LinkToQR.org or its underlying infrastructure.
Prohibited activities include:
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to accounts, servers, systems, or data.
- Attempting to bypass security controls or access restrictions.

When reporting suspected abuse, please provide enough information for us to identify and investigate the relevant QR code, URL, or activity.
12. How We Respond to Violations
We may investigate suspected violations of this AUP and take appropriate action based on the circumstances.
Possible actions may include:
- Removing or disabling access to a QR code or associated content.
- Restricting access to parts of the Service.
- Suspending or terminating use of the Service.
- Blocking abusive requests or traffic.
- Taking technical measures to protect the Service and its users.
- Cooperating with law enforcement or other authorized parties where legally required.
We do not guarantee that every reported violation will result in a particular action. Decisions may depend on the nature, severity, evidence, and circumstances of the reported activity.
13. No Obligation to Monitor Everything
LinkToQR.org does not have an obligation to proactively monitor every URL, QR code, or activity associated with the Service.
However, we may use automated systems, reports, technical signals, or other information to identify potential abuse, security threats, or violations of this AUP.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy when our Service, security requirements, legal obligations, or abuse-prevention practices change.
When changes are made, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of LinkToQR.org after an updated policy becomes effective means that you accept the revised policy.
